large rooms and amicable staff. bed was comfy; and there was a bathtub. the owner was helpful. we loved this hotel and will be back when in whakatane.

The rooms and staff was what makes that place lovely. Near to the downtown, 15 minutes on foot. In fact, it has free parking.
